KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — The Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) is seeing a surge in demand of exhibitors planning to participate in the show.

The Southeast Asia business-to-business furniture trade show has more than 500 exhibitors currently registered and expects nearly 600 by the date of the show, March 1-4, to be held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre. Participating are exhibitors from China, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, along with pavilions by Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.

In addition, buyers from 116 countries and regions have already registered to attend this year’s event.

Organized by Informa Markets, MIFF will feature the debut of the Furniture China@Malaysia Show, the first-ever edition outside Shanghai. It also will showcase collections of Malaysian solid wood furniture and office furnishings, export-ready young designers in the xOrdinary Showcase.

“We are extremely delighted that MIFF is now back to pre-pandemic scale,” said Kelie Lim, MIFF general manager. “After the uncertainties of the past few years, the show boosts the growth of the global industry and trade. MIFF offers an incredible range of opportunities for our customers to grow their business and gain visibility among buyers all over the world.”
